Nield finished the annual four-day Jack Newton Junior Golf tournament with a total of 273 after taking into account his handicap of 10.
His final round of four over 76 at Cypress Lakes on Friday saw him end with 333 strokes off the stick, or 25 over par.
Maitland pair Clayton Small (335) and Will Fraser (341) were further back in the field.
The outright winner of the boys championship (17 years and under) was Blake Windred.
The Newcastle lad dominated proceedings, finishing 13 clear of his nearest rival after going through the 72 holes at 15 under (273).
This included a course record eight under 64 on Wednesday.
The girls championship was clinched by Celina Yuan of The Australian Golf Club, nine ahead of second place after completing the competition six under (282).
Over at Stonebridge for the sub-junior (14 years and under) section it was a Queensland double with Louis Dobbelaar (279) and Joy Mannix (304) successful in the boys and girls divisions respectively.
Branxton’s Corey Lamb (311) finished with a final round of five over (77).
Maitland’s Bowen Small (373) and Branxton’s Riley McClung (392) were further back in the field.
Belmont’s Joshua Robards took out the 13 years nett score after the 12 handicapper finished on an adjusted score of 292.
