The country’s No.1 ranked female player was announced in both the women’s triples and fours on Tuesday as part of the national 10-person squad to contest the 13-day,
18-nation event in Christchurch.
The 24-year-old will skip the triples following excellent form in 2015, which has included a Champion of Champions singles title and Australian Open fours crown.
Scott will play alongside 25-year-old Victorian Carla Odgers and fellow New South Welshman Anne Johns, 35.
The same trio will be joined by St Johns Park 25-year-old Kelsey Cottrell in the fours.
Cottrell and 40-year-old Queenslander Karen Murphy will combine in the pairs.
Murphy will lead the way for the ladies in the singles.
On the other side of the draw Cooranbong 29-year-old Aron Sherriff, who bowls for Ettalong Memorial in the Invitational Big Bowls Challenge, has the men’s solo responsibility.
Sherriff, who was named Bowls Australia international player of the year following a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland, will also line up in the triples with 39-year-old South Australian Wayne Ruediger and Queensland 33-year-old Mark Casey.
Ruediger and Casey will double in the fours with pairs partners Ray Pearse, 31 of Cabramatta, and Nathan Rice, 36 of Helensvale.
Pearse will be making his international debut.
Last time around at the Asia Pacific Championships in 2011, host nation Australia collected eight medals – two gold, five silver and a bronze.
A younger Scott picked up the full set of medals from Adelaide on that occasion with overall women’s team gold, silver in the fours and bronze in the pairs.
The 2015 Asia Pacific Championships will take place at Burnside Bowling Club and will feature 168 players.
Competition starts on November 24 and wraps up December 6.
