Telarah defeated first-time finalists Clarence Town by 93 runs at Robins Oval on Friday to reinforce their position as the most successful primary school in the annual Maitland district cricket competition.
Telarah posted 2-107 from their 25 overs with man of the match Kaia Isaac top scoring after retiring on 25.
Skipper Malcolm Threlfall (23), Nic Olive (17 not out) and Ceb Sanderson (14 not out) were the other contributors for the champions.
Clarence Town’s Jaxson Stericker took 1-14 from his three overs.
In reply Telarah dismissed Clarence Town for 14 about halfway through their innings.
Two wickets each were clinched by Telarah bowlers Sanderson, Damon Drummond, Isaac Coyle and Rohan Hipwell.
This year marked the 21st running of the Reg Kelly Shield.
In other cricket news the NSW PSSA knockout finals will be played at Maitland Park on Tuesday.
