The 14-year-old from Lorn will patrol the sidelines as a ball boy at the inaugural and sold-out Sydney Sevens at Allianz Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.
Parkinson is the sole Maitland Blacks junior selected for the task at the international event and he knows the pace of the game is something else.
