The two-year-old black bitch will launch from box three in Maitland Greyhound Club’s 400 metre decider after remaining undefeated at the track since January 21.
The Mark Moroney-trained charge will have competition either side from both Barry Evans and Ken Cheetham.
Evans, of Moonbi, has Awesome Signs and Ninja Thommo in lanes one and four while Cheetham, based at Harpers Hill, prepares In The End from two and Defy Emotion from seven.
Felicity Smoak (Bryan Young), New Direction (Neal Gray) and Crystal Robbo (Eileen Robertson) round out the field wearing the yellow, green and pink rugs respectively. The winner of the fourth-fifth grade event will pick up $1600.
The feature race will be preceded by three heats of the Maitland To City series with Wentworth Park spots up for grabs.
Trainer Frank Hancock, based at Spring Grove near Casino, will make the trek south with in-form pair Mahailia and Anja.
Mahailia (race four, number eight) and Anja (race five, number seven) have both drawn wide for the journey over 450m after a combined 22 career wins from 29 starts.
Mahailia has triumphed nine times in 14 races, while Anja has been first past the post on 13 of 15 occasions.
Anja has also been successful on all three previous appearances in the black rug.
Maitland Greyhound Club sponsorship and promotions manager Fred Robertson said Anja was his best bet of the day.
Three maidens open the 11-race program.
The first jumps at 3.32pm.
No meeting will be held next week because of the Maitland Show. Racing returns on February 25.
