The four-year-old mare has a chance to extend her unbeaten Australian run to eight wins when contesting the group 1 Chariots of Fire and qualify for the $750,000 Miracle Mile.
It would make for a memorable night at the new office for trainer Shane Tritton and driver Lauren Panella, who last week moved from Keinbah to the industry’s Sydney headquarters.
And despite still getting settled into their new surroundings, the odds remain in their favour.
Arms Of An Angel has been unstoppable since arriving from New Zealand five months ago.
A first-up victory at Newcastle on October 23 has been followed by six straight at Menangle.
This included a mile rate of 1:50.3 on November 21, success in the group 2 Hondo Grattan Stakes on January 23 and most recently a last start triumph on Friday.
This season’s prize pool of $68,500 could be topped up considerably this month with the Chariots Of Fire and potentially the Miracle Mile.
The feature races are worth almost $1 million between them.
Arms Of An Angel would receive automatic qualification for the Miracle Mile on February 28 if successful in the $200,000 contest this weekend.
Arms Of An Angle has drawn wide in barrier nine but will more than likely start from eight. Tritton and Panella have three other runners in the mix to make the Miracle Mile.
The former finalists also race at Menangle on Saturday night.
Mach Beauty has the first opportunity in the group 1 Cordina Sprint, followed by Easy On The Eye and Suave Stuey Lombo in the group 1 Coca-Cola Sprint.
Mach Beauty, the 2013 Miracle Mile and 2014 Inter Dominion finalist, drawn barrier six.
In the next race Suave Stuey Lombo, a 2014 Miracle Mile finalist, will also wear the green rug.
Easy On The Eye, a 2014 Miracle Mile and 2015 Inter Dominion finalist, has the inside lane with Natalie Rasmussen taking the reigns.
Elsewhere on the card Tritton has eight other runners.
Shipwreck, Im Supersonic, Yayas Hot Spot, Marty Monkhouser and Pas Ultimate Delight appear across
the three Slingsby Holdings Championship heats.
Im Cool Harry, Artsu and Goodtime Stride in the final three races.
Ellalong trainer-driver Michael Formosa has Montana Falcon in the eighth after sending stable star Ultimate Art to Queensland.
Program opens at 6.18pm.
Newcastle International Paceway will host a meeting on Friday night.
