Dr Gillespie, a Nationals MP, will hold Fixing Our Federation forums at Clarence Town, Largs and Dungog on March 9 and 10.
He said the forums were ways for voters to put forward ideas about how to make Australia’s Federation better.
“I have had quite a number of requests to continue with these forums,” Dr Gillespie said.
“There have been many ideas I have put forward to my parliamentary colleagues following on from the first round of forums and many of them are now front and centre of the current discussions taking place in Canberra.
“Ideas about tax reform, Senate reform, infrastructure delivery and innovation are now all on the agenda and I want to continue bringing the views and aspirations of our community into the national conversation.”
Clarence Town, Largs and Dungog will become part of the Lyne electorate, which stretches north to Port Macquarie, at the next election.
The shuffle took place as part of boundary adjustments to federal seats.
The Clarence Town forum will be held at Clarence Town Bowling, Sport and Recreation Club between 11am and noon on March 9 and the Largs event will take place at Bushrangers Bar and Brasserie between 5pm and 6pm.
The Dungog forum will be held at Dungog Bowling Club between 2pm and 3pm on March 10.
