The first iteration of the festival, which ran on a scorching weekend in October last year, was such a success organisers decided to bring it back.
It makes 2016 the first year Dashville will host a full quiver of events – the Gum Ball in April, PigSty in July and Skyline from September 30 to October 2.
The first round of Dashville Skyline artists will be announced mid-June but, if last year’s event is anything to judge from it’ll be wall-to-wall talent.
2015 saw Shane Nicholson, Wagons, William Crighton, Olympia , Ben Salter and the harmonious darkhorse from Canada – Bahamas among others.
Organisers revealed the plan this year is to keep a similar mix, including a selection of the country's finest emerging and established artists with overseas guests.
They also confirmed the return of the 'jewel in Skyline's crown' – the Sunset Super Round which invites artists on the bill to pay homage to their favourite songwriters with a cover.
Last year crowds were treated to everything from Holy Holy's full-blooded cover of Neil Young's Southern Man to Melody Pool and Ruby Boots' duet on Lucinda Williams' classic Fruits of My Labor.
