The Bulldogs controlled play in the first 40 minutes to go into the sheds leading 24-0.
Terence Seu Seu and Ben Wyborn were again in the thick of the action and Brady Hammond was strong in the back-row.
“The break probably came at the wrong time for us. Our first half was very good,” Bulldogs coach Phil Williams said.
“Our forwards made great yards and the backs were able to capitalise on it. We got Tyme Dow-Nikau back from NSW Cup and he added that extra strike power for us.
“Everyone did their job in the first half, they really played as a team.
“They came back in the second and it was a real hard slog, but we haven’t won at Centrals for a few years now so it’s a good result for us.”
