It was the most he had ever raised, and contributed to a record breaking total of $820,000 raised by the 260 participants.
Brett said the trip, which ran from May 15-21, was absolutely awesome, and was a particularly easy run with minimal dramas.
The convoy of 84 cars visited 11 schools and gave away $45,000 worth of equipment to sick, disabled and disadvantaged children.
Brett said hearing some of the stories brought a tear to his eye, and reinforces why they do it each year.
“That’s what all the work and the fuss is all about,” he said.
One of the highlights for Brett was visiting Marra Creek Public School, one of the most remote schools in NSW, where the eight students got to ride in a helicopter.
Brett is now looking ahead to the national B to B Variety Bash at the end of August, which he will participate in for the first time.
