Lochinvar Dash leads the way in race four. He is chasing his fifth win from six starts.
Lochinvar Amour and Lochinvar Holly both have good chances in race eight, the Ladbrokes Monthly Medal for bitches.
Their strongest opposition will come from the talented Tanga Tokaam, trained by Helen Pullman.
Lochinvar Brogue is also favoured to take out race nine.
Maitland Greyhound Club promotions manager Fred Robertson said there was good quality throughout the meeting.
Robertson said he liked No. 8 Wing Fan in the feature race 7 the Rural Scene Promotions Stakes.
His best bet of the day comes in race 6, with No.2 Chevy Shifter taking excellent form into the race.
The 10-race meeting at Maitland Showground starts at 3.37pm
