Council gave the development, proposed by Mbk Holdings Pty Ltd, it’s unanimous tick of approval at a meeting this week.
The development, which will be part of the Walka Grange Lifestyle Village, will comprise 44 self care dwellings and the consolidation of three lots into one.
The existing Walka Grange Lifestyle Village comprises 136 self care retirement living dwellings including a community centre, manager’s residence, maintenance shed and caravan storage area.
The new plan involves the building of 35 single storey three bedroom homes, nine single storey two bedroom homes, 18 visitor car parking spaces of which six are disabled, internal roads, footpaths and landscaping.
