The four-wheel-drive was outside the Hunter Trade College when the fire started. The driver reportedly escaped unharmed.
Fire and Rescue and Rural Fire Service teams from East Maitland, Maitland and Lochinvar responded to the blaze and successfully extinguished the fire.
