The comments follow The Mercury’s report that businesses in The Levee weren’t happy with the Riverside Car Park being the location.
Gillian Jones said “The Aroma Festival should be held in The Levee. Car parks are for cars to park in, aren't they?”
Candice Baker had the same idea, saying “Why not use the levee after all the money that's been spent on it and let people park their cars in the carpark?”
Debbie Edmunds suggested a combination of the car park and The Levee.
“Have a spread of stalls so they aren't cramped on top of eachother... It gets so many visitors and gets too crowded jammed into one area,” she said.
A poll conducted by the Mercury showed that 80 per cent of people wanted the festival held in The Levee, 16.5 per cent wanted it in the car park and 3.5 per cent elsewhere.
