Steve and Brenda Young have come to Maitland as part of the Leading Educators Around the Planet exchange program.
They have spent time at Rutherford, Beresfield, Largs and Booragul public schools and Francis Greenway and Rutherford High Schools.
Mr and Mrs Young noticed a few differences and similarities between Australian and Canadian schools.
In Canada, students don’t wear uniforms and the classrooms are all in the one building.
The two teachers said they thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Maitland and the staff and students were all very welcoming.
