“It’s been a tough couple of months for everyone in the industry but we’re still racing as usual at the showground every Thursday afternoon,” Maitland Greyhound Club manager Tony Edmunds said.
“Some of the trainers are doing it tough worrying about their future, but they’re staying strong and united in the hope we can beat the ban.
“We have our annual Father’s Day Gift final on this Thursday afternoon and we’re getting ready for our rich Future Stars maiden series in October, so there’s plenty of good racing on offer at the moment.”
Clubs or groups wanting free tickets to spend a Thursday afternoon at the races can contact Tony Edmunds on 4933 7095 or 0472 842 690.
