Folk In Broke, which is held in the tiny Valley community of Broke, features one of the most diverse and eclectic festival line-ups anywhere in the country.
Headlining this year are fushion groove big bang Bakoomba, Australasian-Japanese fushion drummers Rhythm Hunters, and acclaimed singer-songwriter Liz Stringer.
Joining them are black bird hum, The Coconut Kids, Fletcher Pilon, The Blues Preachers, Mitch Power Music, Big Erle, The Wayward Henrys and Georgina Grimshaw.
Folk In Broke was a classic festival in the Hunter that fell on hard times a few years ago.
But through dedicated locals, including the minds behind the Wollombi Music Festival, Folk In Broke was resurrected last year to massive acclaim.
As well as the live music, the Sacred Tree Markets will be on site along with an African dance and drum workshop – so everyone will be ready for Bakoomba.
Folk in Broke will be held on November 12. Tickets are $85 and include camping.
