About 6.30am on Saturday a property on Bylong Valley Way, Sandy Hollow, was broken into.
A white Holden Crewman was seen driving from the scene.
The property was found to be ransacked and three firearms were found to be missing from a safe, including two Miroku rifles and a single barrel shotgun. A television was also stolen.
Police from Hunter Valley Local Area Command are conducting inquiries into the incident.
