The event will be held at the former Greta Court House, (next to the Greta Historical Museum) on Saturday, November 19 from 11am to 3pm.
Anyone who would like to attend is encouraged to bring a plate, sweet or savoury to share.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
Greta Migrant Camp was the biggest migrant camp in Australia, taking in 100,000 refugees escaping war-torn Europe after World War II.
Greta Museum coordinator Neridah Kentwell said this event will potentially be the first of a number of regular get-togethers, depending on response.
“If you can’t make it this time leave your contact details at the Greta Museum so we can tell you about the next one,” she said.
For inquiries, call into the Greta Museum (in the old council chambers building on High Street); phone Neridah on 0427 657 150 or Peter on 0478 896 722; or email gretahistoricalmuseum@gmail.com.
