It will be a week to celebrate all things business in Maitland and a week to ignite conversations around the idea of: “why not here in Maitland?”
It will be a week to enjoy conversations with some of the premier business operators in this city and a week to let all levels of government know that we want economic stimulation in Maitland.
Maitland Business Week will be a week to unite the various networking groups of Maitland.
With our media partner The Maitland Mercury, The Maitland Business Chamber is proud to announce the first ever Maitland Business Week.
The major events that are scheduled and will soon be available to purchase or reserve tickets for free events are:
- Monday, November 14 – Maitland Networking Championships, 5.30pm at The Pour House;
- Tuesday, November 15 – The Future of Business, 7am at Best Western, Rutherford;
- Wednesday, November 16 – Why not Maitland? A Discussion on Visitor Economy (includes wine tasting), 5.30pm at Walka Water Works;
- Thursday, November 17 – MED Talks, 6pm at Maitland Town Hall.
The event on Thursday night is something I am looking forward to.
We have a line-up of great local business people who have 11 minutes each to tell us their personal story or use that time to share their expertise.
It will be the crowning glory of the week and will be a great networking event in its own right.
