The event pulled in more than $5000 for the cause, which helps people suffering terminal illnesses in Maitland.
“It was a beautiful, happy, joyous day,” Friends of Palliative Care founder Pat Allen OAM said. “The club’s support means so much.”
In a letter to Fairfax Media, Ms Allen thanked the club, Father Peter Street (who blessed the convoy) and Maitland mayor Peter Blackmore who officially opened the ride.
Money raised through t-shirt sales will be donated to Ronald McDonald House. Anyone interested in purchasing a shirt to help the cause should contact Ms Allen on 4933 4494.
