Bunnings Maitland donated 90 kilograms worth of sugary sweets to Maitland Fire and Rescue for their annual lolly run.
The candy will be distributed by Santa in various parts of Maitland in December.
The donation is a welcome gift for the Fire and Rescue members.
In previous years, the firefighters have had to fork out cash from their own pocket to pay for the $1000 worth of lollies.
The firies also give up their own time to take part in the initiative, but say it’s worth it to see the kids’ reactions.
“The families look forward to it,” Maitland Fire and Rescue captain Paul Casey said.
“That’s why we do it, for the kids.”
