HVG captain Ryan Furness, Harrison Allomes, Oscar and Charlie Walker all compulsorily retired on 25 as the grammar boys posted 2/132.
The wicket takers for Clarence Town were Taiij Burgess and Ronin Elloy.
Clarence Town, who were runners-up last year, lost early wickets as their batsmen tried to keep pace with the run chase and were eventually dismissed for 58.
Jack Boyton was the best with the bat for Clarence Town retiring on 25.
The total was always going to be too big when key batsmen Keeghan Stericker (6), Burgess (9) and skipper Declan McIntosh (2) were dismissed without making major contributions.
Furness led his team from the front claiming 2-5, with Max Glasson also claiming 2-5 to be the other chief wicket taker.
The remainder of the wickets were shared around with the bowlers backed up by excellent fielding.
The HVG fielders took four catches, ran out one batsman and wicketkeeper Allomes made a stumping.
Furness was named man of the match for his all-round performance.
Umpire Lindsay Wood said Furness’ leadership and direction on the field clinched the prize from other excellent performers on both teams.
Both teams can expect big seasons next year with the majority of their squads still in grade five this year.
