PCYC Cessnock is offering gymnastics, tumbling and trampolining classes, as well as a multi-sports program in which children can come and try a range of sports and activities.
The PCYC’s indoor skate park has also been a big drawcard during the holidays.
Cessnock and Kurri Kurri Libraries will be hosting several activities including XBox and board games; cartooning, mask-making and robotics coding workshops, science experiments and more.
Cessnock Regional Art Gallery will hold school holiday workshops, including movie making, pirate and princess art, jewellery making and card making.
Active kids will also enjoy what’s on offer at Cessnock Toyota Stadium, with multi-sport camps on January 17 and 19 (including basketball, volleyball, futsal, dodgeball and other fun games).
Cessnock Leagues Club is holding a kids’ club every Friday in January from 10am to 12.30pm, with different themes and activities each week.
Out at Hunter Valley Gardens, the Christmas Lights Spectacular continues until Australia Day – as does Mega Creatures event, showcasing some of Australia’s largest animatronic bugs and dinosaurs.
