An Italian Ferris Wheel standing 22 metres high has arrived to delight families who delve into sideshow alley.
The ride has never been used and is waiting for its first customers when the show starts on Friday.
It’s owner, Greg Webster from the Showmens Guild said it arrived on a semi-trailer and it took four men eight hours to put the ride together.
Once it leaves Maitland it will become part of the country show circuit throughout Australia.
“It’s fully enclosed so you are completely secure,” he said.
“It’s very slow and comfortable.”
One ticket will equal five rounds on the ride.
