East defeated West in the under-16 and under-12 Hunter Valley Junior Cricket Council representative series finals on Sunday.
West took home some silverware defeating Cessnock in the under-14 final.
Storms threatened to call a halt to the under-14 and under-16 games, but play resumed after a break.
Earlier twins Charlie and Oscar Walker helped bowl East Maitland to victory in the under-12 representative cricket final on Sunday.
Charlie snared 5-13 in his four overs and Oscar claimed 2-3 as West Maitland were bundled out for 38.
Pace bowler Thomas Thorpe picked up the other wickets finishing with 3-21.
Openers Jaxon Brooks (44 not out) and James Green (13 not out) made sure of victory as East posted 0/72 from their 20 overs.
Jacob Page ensured East Maitland also claimed bragging rights over Maitland West in the under-16 final making 53 with the bat and and grabbing 5-16 with the ball.
Matt Lynch top scored with 67 as East posted 7/180. Will Turpin chimed in with 18 and Will Stoneman finished on 14 not out.
Jock Vivers was the best of the West bowlers claiming 2-32.
West’s run chase got off to a bad start with Michael Banister (2-11) dismissing opening pair Shannon Trelfo (0) and Ethan Gladman (5).
No.4 Callum Gabriel (33) was the only West batsman to make double figures before he became one of Page’s five victims as East bundled their cross-town rivals out for 68.
Maitland West under 14s beat Cessnock by five wickets after dismissing them for 84.
Cameron Wynn was West’s best with the ball claiming 4-16. Eddie Sutherland finished with 2-11.
Wynn top-scored with 33 and was at the crease unbeaten with Roy Bocking who scored 12 to go with his 1-9 from two overs with the ball. Luke Farthing also made a strong contribution scoring 22.
Semi-finals in the under-16 Maitland competition start this weekend, there are two rounds of left in under-12 to under-15 before the semi-finals on March 11.
