Hope Estate hosts the legendary band on Saturday, October 21, with support by Birds of Tokyo and Ash Grunwald.
The final show on the tour is Saturday, November 11, at the Domain in Sydney, with support by the John Butler Trio.
Tickets went on sale at midday Monday February 27.
The Australian leg of the tour promoted by Frontier Touring commences October 2, at Anzac Oval, Alice Springs, followed by shows at Darwin (October 4), Cairns (October 7), Townsville (October 10), Rockhampton (October 12), Sunshine Coast (October 14), Brisbane (October 15 and 17), Coffs Harbour (October 19).
After Hope Estate, the Oils play Canberra (October 24), Adelaide (October 26), Perth (October 28), Hobart (November 1), Wodonga (November 3), Hanging Rock (November 4) Melbourne (November 6), and Wollongong (November 8).
The band line-up for the tour is Peter Garrett on vocals, Rob Hirst on drums, Martin Rotsey on guitar, Jim Moginie on guitar and keyboards and Bones Hillman on bass.

Both of these box sets will be housed in replica miniature water tanks like the one featured onstage at so many ‘Oils’ gigs.
