A man has been charged with kidnapping offences after an incident in Paxton.

The 56-year-old man allegedly went into the his female neighbour’s house on Friday night and dragged her across the street into his home.
The 28-year-old woman then fled to Cessnock Police Station.
The woman reported that she was sitting in her lounge room about 6.30pm when her neighbour walked through her house and into her yard.
Police will allege the man then yelled at the woman’s two dogs to be quiet before he went back into the house.
The man allegedly grabbed the woman’s arm and pulled out cable ties which he sized up against her wrist, before dragging her into his shed.
Police arrested the man and took him to Cessnock Police Station, where he was charged with aggravated break and enter and detain for advantage.
He was refused bail to appear in Newcastle Local Court on April 26.
