After years studying food technology in a demountable classroom, the students at St Joseph's College Lochinvar now have shiny new facilities to enjoy.
The school has finished construction of a new 1000-seat hall and indoor basketball court, hospitality/food technology kitchens, a cafe area and change rooms.
The project also included refurbished sciences laboratories, music rooms and state-of-the-art technology facilities.
The multi-million dollar upgrade was part of larger plans to expand the school to years 7-12 by 2019.
Principal Paul Greaves said the upgrades had been designed to help students achieve in school and beyond.
“We’re thrilled to deliver something that will significantly change the experience of school,” he said.
