And the feeling has Tenambit Public School students Alex Brown and Eliza Blakemore elated.
The students had their works displayed as part of the school’s annual art show and encompassed the theme celebrating the past.
Alex, year 3, took on the world of cubism while Eliza, year 4, recreated New Years Eve fireworks.
“We were learning about the past and at that time about Picasso so I thought I’d do that,” Alex said.
“I like seeing the fireworks so I did that,” Eliza added.
The show was held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in association with Maitland Region Society of Artists and raised money for the school.
