Flying fox camp lands in Murrurundi

PROBLEM: A flying fox camp has been established in Murrurundi near the Pages River. Residents should avoid contact with flying foxes dead or alive, wash their hands if they are in contact with bat faeces and do not allow horses to graze in the area. Residents’ views on the flying-foxes are being sought in order to create a camp management plan for the shire.
