Man with stab wound presents to Cessnock Hospital but refuses to provide details to police

Mystery surrounds a man who was stabbed but refused to provide any details of the incident to police.

The man from Hunterview, in Singleton, presented to Cessnock Hospital at 10.15am Saturday with a 10 centremetre laceration to his torso.

Hospital staff stitched up the wound and contacted police.

Officers interviewed the 36-year-old who failed to give any information about how he sustained the injury.
