Australian 90s art rockers Regurgitator delivered a raucous finale to the 12th Gum Ball music on Saturday night in front of a sold out 2000-strong crowd at Lower Belford. The audience were treated to a greatest hits set from the Brisbane three-piece, including Black Bugs and Polyester Girl.
The Gum Ball has built its success on the family-friendly environment. That guaranteed a even larger number of children among the crowd of campers than in past years, enjoying the skate half-pipe, arts and craft and sand pit.
Of course the main reason for The Gum Ball is music. Maitland’s Dave Wells, Gareth Liddiard, Caiti Baker, Boo Seeka and The Peep Tempel were all highlights of the three-day festival.
