Brierty Dorahy was named winner of the art competition held by Multiplex and Stockland on Monday.
Thirteen artists – who were registered with job providers – took part in the competition, which called on work that reflected their view of the Maitland area.
Judge and local artist Karen Robinson Smith congratulated the entrants for their unique works.
"The judges were very impressed by the high standard of artwork submitted to the [Stockland] Connectivity Centre Art Competition, it made the judging process very challenging and very exciting,” she said. “We all look forward to seeing these artists represented in local galleries widely and wish them every success in their future artistic journey.”
Multiplex NSW regional managing director David Ghannoum said art competition highlighted the diversity of people in the Maitland area and created unique local artworks.
