JUNIOR NURSERY: The Blacks junior programs is the bedrock for the club's success and is one of the biggest in NSW.
DIVERSITY: Maitland fields one women's team in the local competition and encourages female participation in the club at all levels.
LEGACY: The Blacks have tended to the grave site of English international Robert L Seddon every year since he was buried at Telarah after drowning in the Hunter River while touring with the British and Irish Lions in 1888.
FAVOURITE SONS: Nic White, left and Luke Burgess came through the junior ranks at Maitland before going on to play for the Wallabies.
MORE THAN JUST A CLUB: The tragic neck injury to Dom Punch galvanised the Maitland Blacks to support the respected club figure.
WINNERS: Maitland have won 12 first grade premierships over the course of 140 years, including the team of 1977.
