The forum will be held at Maitland Town Hall on Wednesday, May 17, from 10am to 12pm and hosted by the federal member for Paterson Meryl Swanson.
“It will be a chance for seniors in the Maitland community to hear about how the recent Federal Budget will affect them,” Ms Swanson said.
“We will also have guest speakers from Centrelink, the National Broadband Network, and Seniors Rights.”
Attendees will receive information packs, and have the chance to ask questions.
“As space is limited, I plan to hold a second forum in the Maitland area later in the year as well as others in Kurri Kurri and Raymond Terrace,” Ms Swanson said.
