Doyle, from Newcastle, broke three bones in his right foot in a crash while racing for his Polish side Falubaz Zielona Gora at Torun on Sunday.
He will test his fitness in Friday’s Kjærgaard Danish SGP practice session.
Doyle's 2016 world championship campaign ended at Torun when he crashed in the penultimate grand prix of last season. He was leading the standings at that point.
The Australian 2015 speedway champion punctured his left lung, badly traumatised his right lung and shattered his right elbow as well dislocating his left shoulder.
Doyle is second in the 2017 world championship standings trailing Polish rider Patryck Dudek by one point.
