A quick update on the current firearms amnesty. Numerous unwanted firearms and ammunition were surrendered to police last week. One woman came in with a large quantity of ammunition, fireworks and even two illegal butterfly knives that were in her deceased father’s shed. Keep the weapons coming, though if you have old fireworks it would be better if you rang the station first for advice.
