If you’re in The Levee on Thursday you’ll smell the aromas once chef Amorelle Dempster starts cooking.
She’ll also be making a warm vegetable salad with beetroot leaves, kale, parsley, cabbage and coconut, which will be aired live on the Maitland Mercury’s Facebook page.
The Slow Food Hunter Valley leader will sell the dish for $15 to help raise money to buy equipment for the market.
Twelve growers will have an array of fresh seasonal produce for sale at stalls in The Levee from 1pm until 5pm.
