Regional Neigbourhood Watch co-ordinator Bill Hackney said he was happy with the number of people who attended the meeting and expressed a genuine interest in establishing a Rutherford/Aberglasslyn group.
"The meeting was fantastic and I couldn't have been happier with the attendance with people there ranging in age from 25 to 75," Mr Hackney said.
"It was a very responsive audience and many indicated a willingness to attend the next meeting in four weeks time where a committee will be formed.
"The initial meeting was to get in contact with the local community.”
BARRINGTON SNOW
Barrington Tops received its second blanket of snow on Wednesday morning. Snow chasers reported the flakes started falling before 10am and provided a very light dusting across the national park.
