The two popular Melbourne groups will lead the annual two-day event when it returns to Maitland Gaol on November 4 and 5.
The lineup of musical artists has become almost as much a part of the popular Maitland City Council event as the dozens of different craft beers on offer.
The Delta Riggs will unleash their high energy jams on the Bitter and Twisted crowd on Saturday, November 4.
The four piece came out of the woodwork with a self titled EP in 2010 and have dropped big singles like Supersonic Casualties and Never Seen This Before.
Architecture in Helsinki first came on the scene in 2003 following the release of their debut album Fingers Crossed.
With hits including That Beep, Heart It Races and Dream a Little Crazy, the band has become one of Australia’s premier indie groups and they’ll take the stage at Bitter and Twisted on Sunday, November 5 with their distinctive style and energetic live show.
Also confirmed to join Architecture in Helsinki and The Delta Riggs are Mia Dyson, I Know Leopard and The Vanns.
Maitland City Council events curator Jess Hartigan said this year’s lineup included some “outstanding acts”.
“We are confident Architecture in Helsinki and The Delta Riggs, along with all the other artists, will be the perfect complement to the fantastic range of Australian craft beer and delicious food on offer as part of the weekend event,” Ms Hartigan said.
