The event, starting from Maitland’s Metropolitan Hotel, is a mystery bike ride to raise money for Ronald McDonald House and local kids suffering life threatening illnesses.
Organiser, Willo sad the ride will leave around midday and is open to anyone.
“You don’t have to ride a bike to join in,” he said. “People can follow in cars or they can go online to make a donation and that can be anonymous if they’d prefer.”
People can register on arrival at The Metropolitan Hotel for $20. This will buy them a wrist band making them eligible for raffles at every stop.
“We’ve received great support from local businesses donating everything from a signed Newcastle Knights football to hair treatments and dining vouchers,” Willo said. T-shirts and pink socks to help raise money for breast cancer research will also be on sale during the course of the day.
