An application was lodged by McCloy Lochinvar for a staged residential subdivision over three existing lots, which sit off the New England Highway, near Aird’s of Lochinvar.
If approved, the project will be developed in five stages.
The site is located in the Lochinvar Urban Release Area, which comprises of 650 hectares of land, with an approximate residential yield of 5,000 lots.
Details of the McCloy proposal are available on the council website and at the administration building.
Written submissions on the application should be lodged to council by Friday, October 6.
The project continues the pattern of residential growth in the Maitland area, with 34 blocks at Louth Park and 100 lots at Ravensfield at Farley also recently released.
