The venue was at capacity for the German-style celebration, which coincided with the annual Munich celebration.
Organisers organised to have Lee Street closed to traffic to make way for a German beer garden.

There were also authentic steins for the attendees to take home, professional German dancers and entertainment provided by German band – The Oompah Pa's.
