Councillors voted in favour of lodging applications for the projects through the NSW government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund, with the application to include $597,000 for upgrades to five off leash dog exercise area around Maitland, $559,000 for improvements to Bakers Brickyard Playground in Raworth, and $950,000 for further stages of the shared pathway between Gillieston Heights and Maitland.
