The popular Australian acts will perform at Hope Estate on November 25 as part of SummerSalt - a new concert event dedicated to celebrating the Australian outdoor summer.
Celebrated as one of the world’s energetic festival bands and party powerhouses, The Cat Empire continue to deliver a spectacular live show.
They've had numerous hit singles and headlined festivals around the globe, placing them as one of the country's biggest and most notable live bands.
Last year saw their Rising With The Sun album debut at number one on both the National ARIA & AIR charts, Top 10 in six other countries and then Top 20 in 16 countries around the world, along with a global debut at number nine on the iTunes worldwide chart.
Their last international tour saw them play to over a quarter of a million people throughout Europe, North and South America, Australia and Asia.
Their varied and exploratory approach to music has brought together a global army of fans of all ages.
The Cat Empire experience is inimitable and unforgettable all at once.
Since the very beginning of his musical career, Xavier Rudd's ability to connect with people has been his most powerful gift.
The more he has toured the world, the more hearts he has touched and the more of the world he has put back into his music.
Hailed as one of Australia’s most proficient multi-instrumentalists, Xavier Rudd continues to enthral audiences worldwide.
In 2016, Rudd topped the charts in the Netherlands with his single Follow the Sun, achieving platinum sales in Italy and sparking insatiable demand for his live show from all corners of the globe.
Australian audiences got to experience the Xavier Rudd spectacular in outdoor venues across the country when he toured nationally with The Cat Empire in early 2017.
Following the sun again, Rudd then headed to Europe in June and July on another summer tour that covered 27 venues and festivals, including a sell-out revisit to the Tivoli Vredenburg where the live album was recorded in The Netherlands.
He then took the show to North America for a further 17 headline and festival appearances before returning home to Australia in August.
On top of showcasing the best bands, SummerSalt will also bring cultural attractions, with emphasis on sustainability.
