A TEENAGER has died following a fatal accident at Aberglasslyn on Friday morning.

At about 3am, the male was travelling on an unregistered Honda, also known as a ‘step-through/postie bike’, in Budgeree Drive.
At that time, he collided with the rear of a stationary Nissan 4WD.
Central Hunter Local Area Command duty officer Peter Vromans said the 4WD was parked and unattended.
“The rider wasn’t wearing a helmet and, as a result of the collision, suffered fatal injuries,” he said.
“Police are conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances of the collision.
“The male rider is estimated to be in his mid-to-late teens, and has not been identified at this stage.”
Police are appealing for information regarding the identity of the rider who died at the scene.
At the time of collision he was wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.
A report will be prepared for the information of Coroner.
