Hunter buses get massive face lift
From January 15, changes include:
- 21 additional weekly services on routes 164 and 166 from Cessnock and Kurri Kurri to Maitland
From 30 January, the following services will see more than 100 additional weekly trips:
- 20 additional weekly services on route 130 between Fingal Bay and Newcastle
- 34 additional weekly services on route 179 between North Rothbury and Rutherford
- 50 additional weekly services across routes 262, 269, 270 and 275.
Customers are advised to prepare for the changes by planning their trip at www.transportnsw.info.
The new services follow one of the biggest uplifts in public transport services ever in the bus sector, with almost 7,000 additional weekly bus services added to the timetable in late November 2017.
