Police are appealing for public assistance after a teenage girl was approached at Metford on Friday.

Just before 4pm, the 15-year-old girl was walking on Streeton Drive at the intersection of Whiteley Avenue when a white ute stopped near her.
The girl told police the driver, a man aged in is his 60s, spoke to her before driving along Streeton Drive.
The girl was not harmed during the incident.
Police are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or knows the identity of the man.
The man was described as being of thin build, grey/white hair and wearing a grey or white shirt.
