Multiplex staff visited the hospital last week to see the new additions to the hospital’s special care nursery, which assist premature and sick babies.
The construction company raised $109,000 for the machines through raffles, a golf day and other donations.
Multiplex project manager Jeff Wall said it was “fantastic” to see the final results of the fundraising initiative. “I know the workforce will be very pleased with their endeavours,” he said.
Maitland Hospital nurse unit manager Jessica Crombie said the machines replaced outdated equipment and would be put to good use.
